The Courier-Post Turns To Little Flower Creative For Halloween Home Decorating Expertise

The Courier-Post, South Jersey's leading daily newspaper headquartered in Cherry Hill, NJ, recently turned to Little Flower Creative, a leading South Jersey home decor and seasonal styling company, for boo-tiful Halloween house decorating tips and expertise.

In an article printed in the Courier-Post on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, Little Flower Creative shares expertise on smart, cost-effective and creative ways to maximize Halloween decor  with vintage decorations, natural Fall elements and eerily fun and sensationally spooky stylings.

“Interior home decorating does not have to be a frightening cost drain,” CJ DiRoma, founder of Little Flower Creative, a home-design firm in Merchantville, shares with Courier-Post readers. “You can get some fun, expressive and seasonally outstanding Halloween interior decor accents at dollar stores and other low-cost shopping outlets minutes from your home."

“For as low as $50, you can add spirit to your home with displays of Halloween pumpkin trees, scarecrow lanterns, Halloween candlestick displays, spiderweb mantel scarves, ghost pillows, skeleton votive holders, spiderweb table toppers and much more,” DiRoma explains.

Vintage is another popular trend in the air this Halloween season. Taking the traditional route is a good idea if you’re on a budget and are unsure about what decorations are in. After all even left-for-dead Halloween fashion trends tend to resurrect.

“Vintage Halloween decorations bring a ‘transcending time’ quality to Halloween decor, especially interior decorating,” DiRoma tells Courier-Post readers. “Vintage-styled Halloween decor is well worth screaming over, with haunting displays revealing stark black and white contrasts and nostalgic tones.”

That means making prominent use iconic Hallooween figures such as black cats and pumpkins. Halloween will be here before you know it and trick-or-treaters will be knocking at your door. Is your house ready? If not, you still have time to decorate and show your Halloween spirit.

“Halloween is a fun and magical time and it is certainly an expressive time for decorating,”  DiRoma shares with the Courier-Post. “I always advise to keep Halloween decor very similar to the classic, natural themes of fall decor, with a subtle tribute to the whimsical, eerie and haunting themes Halloween celebrates.”
